Assam Boxer Bhagyabati Kachari's Medals Stolen by Thieves in Guwahati

Guwahati, September 21, 2019:

Assam Boxer Bhagyabati Kachari’s medals were stolen by thieves in Guwahati.

In a sensational incident, thieves reportedly broke into the quarters the ace pugilist and made off with her prized medals on Friday.

The culprits reportedly broke into Kachari's Railway Staff Quarter at Guwahati's Maligaon locality and made off with her medals as well as other valuables.

They stole 22 medals and other valuable documents from her house.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the case and efforts are on to nab the culprits behind the robbery.

It may be mentioned here that Bhagyabati Kachari, who is an Indian amateur woman boxer, had won a gold medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament that was held in Guwahati.
