Assam: BSF apprehends Bangladeshi miscreants, seizes liquor and cannabis from Indo-Bangladesh Border

In yet another success in its crusade against border crimes, the  troops  under the aegis of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force apprehended one Bangladeshi National and seized 252 bottle Liquor and 14 kg Cannabis from Indo- Bangladesh border.

The troops  of 169 Bn  also managed to apprehend one  Bangladeshi miscreant from the bordering area of village Satgachi of PS- Mathabanga ,district –Coochbehar (WB) and  rescued 03 Cattle heads from the miscreant, while trying to cross International boundary illegally. The details of apprehended BD national is - Md Sahin Islam (28yrs) S/O Rafikul Islam, Village Panbari , PO-Lolitar, PS- Patgram, District- Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh.  

Besides above, on November 24, the Special Boat Patrolling Party of BOP Salapara of 41 Bn managed to seized 252 bottle Liquor from the Brahmaputra river channel from the bordering area of village Kalaikhawa PS- Sukchar  district Southsalmar (Assam).
