ASSAM: CASE FILED AGAINST POLICE OFFICER SAMAD CHOUDHURYsamad

A case has been registered against the police officer Samad Choudhury of Dergaon Police Training College, today by Saiful Islam and Jagadish Mandal for demanding gratification for the post of constable.

According to the report, the police officer demanded a sum of Rs. 3 Lakhs, Rs 1.5 Lakhs each which they paid to the officer at his quarter. Samad Chaudhury along with his family was being involved in the case. Prior to this many complaints has be registered against the office in Dergaon Police Station for demanding gratification from other poor youths of the region.

After getting the gratification amount, the officer shuts all the contacts from the two complainants. Getting the hint of this the two complainant reached to the President of Warlak Women Association to get back the money. However the President could not help out so the two have filed a case against Samad Choudhury.
