ASSAM: CCTOA ON THE MOB LYNCHING OF 8TH JUNE

The Coordination Committee of the Tribal Organization of Assam organized a press meet puting forwarding their views on the heinous lynching of the two innocent soul of Abhijeet Nath and Nilotpal Das at Dokmoka. The meeting was presided over by Aditya Khaklari, Pramod Boro, Ramen Singh Rabha, Dipen Mosrong, Rimol Aamsi, Prabin Deka Horoniyo, Bikrom Hanse.

They stated that they will stand firm for justice of the souls against the main culprits. However they stated that such a situation has brought a communal rift in the state.They stated that the students or any folk hailing from Karbi Anglong facing dishevellence at the face of such turbulence is unacceptable too. They expressed Superstion and Unawareness to be the primary cause for such a brutal occuring. They demaned peaceful solution of such an issue. They have welcomed the quick steps undertaken the administration in this regard.

They also commented on the role of social media in framing the happenings of a society. They also stated that it is not only the government or administration that needs to be keen on the matter but also role of the mass here plays a great role

At last they urged the sensible, educated people of the community and do their part to guide the backward class and impart proper knowledge guiding them to light
