Assam Chief Minister Inaugurates Don Bosco College in Remote Area of Chirang

Chirang, November 4, 2019:

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday inaugurated the newly-constructed Don Bosco College at Chapaguri in Chirang district. The inauguration of the college, which has been constructed in one of the remoter areas of the State, took place in the presence of BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary, Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma, Tourism Minister Chandan Brahma, among other dignitaries.

Assam Chief Minister Sonowal opined that the presence of institutes of higher learning will help realize the Prime Minister's vision of transforming India into the most powerful nation in the world. "I am sure that the students of this college, through quality education, will be able to earn individual success in the world. Along with Assam, the rest of the nation too has been able to earn quality education through the Prime Minister's vision", Chief Minister Sonowal said.

Speaking on the sideline of the programme, Minister Pramila Rani Brahma said, "People living in backward areas do noyt get quality education. Even if they have very humble meals, they will be find access to quality education here. If we are unable to give quality education to the youth, we will ostensibly fail in our dream of making India a strong and powerful nation."
