Assam: Chirang police seizes live ammunition ahead of BTC polls

CHIRANG: Ahead of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls, the police in Chirang seized yet another large shipment of live ammunition.

The Chirang police led by Additional Superintendent of Police on Wednesday conducted a massive search operation along with Bijni personnel from 7:30 am onwards.

The police seized a total of 792 rounds live ammunition including 561 rounds of live ammunition of 7.62 mm, and 231 rounds live ammunitions of 5.56 mm.
