GUWAHATI: After another school bombing along the Assam-Mizoram border, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he is going to write to his Mizoram counterpart and request for a probe into the incident.
“As the incident has occurred in our territory, Assam will also conduct an inquiry into it,” the Assam CM added.
The Mizoram border along the Barak Valley was temporarily calm until a grenade blast destroyed a part of a school building in the Gutguti area in the Hailakandi district.
The Assam CM also said that intelligence reports had suggested sporadic incidents may occur along the border. ''I had mentioned about it in the assembly on Friday."
