Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal escaped unhurt after a chopper carrying the CM turned three times in mid-air. The CM was en route to Lilawati from Borjhar to attend a function.
As per reports, the pilot of the CM's Pawan Hans helicopter was blindsided for a moment due to overcast skies, which led to the mishap.

The incident reportedly occurred at Bandoduwa in Assam.
The CM has reportedly been evacuated from the chopper and latest visuals show the CM getting down from the chopper after it made a landing.
