GUWAHATI: The Assam government has constituted a committee to make an on the spot verification of the areas for outlining the nine proposed animal corridors in Kaziranga National Park.
During the meeting the committee also talked about creating an eco sensitive zones in order to provide a safe passage and to resolve the man-elephant conflict.

The discussions were held in a meeting at the office of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Minister Atul Bora with Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya and Health Minister Keshab Mahanta and other dignitaries on Wednesday.
The interim report will be submitted after 15 days of making an assessment of the place. Reportedly, the final report will be submitted within a fortnight.
A rough outline of the proposed nine corridors was further discussed.
