The Assam Higher Education Secondary Council (AHSEC) has declared the results of HS 2020 examination of all the three streams on June 25th, 2020 morning. The overall pass percentage of the Arts stream is 78.28, 88.18 in Commerce stream and 88.06 in Science stream.

Darrang registered highest pass percentage in Arts with 89.07 stream followed by 87.39 Jorhat while in Commerce stream, Chirang, Majuli and W Karbi Anglong registered 100 percent pass percentage and in Science stream, Sivasagar tops with 95.97 percentage followed by 95.44 Baksa.

A total of 131794 out of 1,68,367 candidates cleared the examination in Arts streams while 15619 out of 17713 cleared in Commerce stream and 34847 out of 39574 in Science stream.

The overall pass percentage in Arts stream in 2019 was 75.14 and 74.68 in 2018 while in Commerce stream, 87.59 in 2019 and 84.64 in 2018 and in Science stream, 86.59 in 2019 and 85.74 in 2018.

Krishna Maheswari, Shraddha Borgohain and Pubali Deka

Pubali Deka of Patharighat HS School, Darrang, and Shraddha Borgohain of Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon topped the Arts stream with 481 total marks. Krishna Maheswari of Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh, topped in the Commerce stream with 471 total marks while Abinash Kalita of Anundoram Barooah Academy, Barpeta topped in the Science stream with 486.

Meanwhile, Debashree Bora of Cotton University, Kamrup (Metro) got 4th rank in the Arts stream with 472 marks and Sampurna Batsayan of Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Kamrup (Metro) got 5th rank with 471 marks.

In Commerce stream, Simi Das of Gauhati Commerce College, Kamrup (Metro) held 9th rank with 452 marks while Nalini Jamar of NEF College, Kamrup (Metro) and Sakshi Golchha of KC Das Commerce College, Kamrup (Metro) held the 10th rank with 451 marks each.

In Science stream, Preetpal Bezbaruah of Sai Vikash Junior College, Kamrup (Metro) stood at 3rd rank with 481 marks and Ayushi Kabra of the same institution stood at 6th rank with 477 marks.
