Assam: Dhubri Forest check station Ranger seizes sand loaded country boat

DHUBRI: The DFO and Forest Check Station Ranger, Dhubri seized one country boat loaded with sand which was illegally trespassing through Tipkai river.

According to Dhubri Forest Check Station Ranger, Harish Nath, based on a secret information a team of Sapatgram forest staff along with DFO Dhubri conducted the operation in the remote area of Pathimari, Tipkai river which passes between a semi forest land at Sapatgram.

During the raid ranger along with Deepak Chandra Deka, DFO, Dhubri able to siezed one illegal sand loaded country boat.

The boat operators were able to flee from the spot, swimming the river across.

Later, the boat being brought to Sapatgram Forest Depot.
