A huge quantity of drugs has been seized by Assam police worth approximately Rs. 60 lakh during a raid at Chirukandi FCI area in Cachar district and apprehended three individuals in relation to the case.

Based on specific inputs, a joint operation was led by Dy SP (HQ) and Tarapur TOP staff during which they seized 30000 WY tablets in 150 packets from the possession of the three apprehended individuals.

The accused have been identified as Ajit Singh, Shah Alam and Mitu Ahmed Laskar
The team has also seized one Hyundai EON, bearing registration no. AS11CC1958, one Pulsar 220F bearing registration no. AS11M0306 and one Yamaha R15 bearing registration no. AS11L 7012
The items were seized as per NDPS Act and handed over to Tarapur TOP.
