Assam | Ex-Minister’s son allegedly thrashes woman at Hotel Grand Majesty

Former Assam minister Nurjamal Sarkar’s son Nekibur Zaman surrenders in Basistha Police station on Thursday after he was accused of allegedly thrashing a female employee.

Nekibur Zaman, the MD of Hotel Grand Majesty on Wednesday was accused of thrashing an OYO employee in the hotel premises at around 10 am.

The OYO authority which runs the Hotel Grand Majesty located at Hatigaon locality of Guwahati city, lodged an FIR at 5:30 pm on Wednesday.

According to reports, the female employee was dragged and thrashed by Zaman in the hotel at around 10 in the morning on Wednesday.
