ASSAM: FERRY SERVICE CANCELLED

The water level of the mighty river Brahmaputra is getting higher leading to a dangerous stake. The Assam Inland Water Transport (IWT) department cancelled the ferry service has been stopped due to the increasing level of water of the Brahmaputra river last night at around 7:30 pm in Majgaon ghat.

While the public of Majgaon complaint against the department saying that “The government ferry service is very poor, and they only look after the beauty and spending lakhs of money in this. They have provided the lights, tiles, speakers to listen songs and all the necessary things to look it better but the engines of the ferries are badly damaged."
