The complete list of candidates has been finalized for the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The Lok Sabha in Assam will be held in three phases for the 14 parliamentary constituencies.
The lists of the final candidates are: In Karimganj, Radheshyam Biswas from All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), Kripanath Malla from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Swarup Das from Congress are the candidates.
In Silchar, Sushmita Dev from Congress, Rajdeep Roy from BJP are the candidates.
In Autonomous District (ST), Biren Singh Engti from Congress and Haren Sing Bey from BJP are the candidates.
In Dhubri, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal from AIUDF, Zabed Islam from Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Abu Taher Bepari from Congress will fight for the Lok Sabha throne.
In Kokrajhar, Naba Kumar Sarania as independent candidate, Pramila Rani Brahma from Bodo People’s Front (BPF), Sabda Ram Rabha from Congress will fight for the elusive crown.
In Barpeta, Hafiz Rafiqul Islam from AIUDF and Abdul Khaleque from Congress will vie for the top prize.
In Guwahati, Queen Ojha from BJP and Bobbeeta Sharma from Congress will duke it out for the 'W'.
In Mangaldoi, Dilip Saikia from BJP and Bhubaneswar Kalita from Congress will be locking horns.
In Tezpur, Pallab Lochan Das from BJP and MGVK Bhanu from Congress will stand against each other.
In Nagaon, Rupak Sharma from BJP and Pradyut Bordoloi from Congress will challenge each other for the crown.
In Kaliabor, Moni Madhab Mahanta from AGP and Gaurav Gogoi from Congress will fight the elections.
In Jorhat, Topon Gogoi from BJP and Sushanta Borgohain from Congress are the strongest of candidates from the two biggest national parties, BJP and Congress.
In Dibrugarh, Rameshwar Teli from BJP and Pawan Singh Ghatowar from Congress will fight for the prize.
In Lakhimpur, Pradan Baruah from BJP and Anil Borgohain from Congress are the top contenders.
