ASSAM: THE FINAL LIST OF THE NEW SONOWAL CABINET IS OUT; SEVEN NEW MINISTERS ON BOARD

During this expansion, a total of seven new ministers are to be inducted among which five will be from the BJP, while one each will be from its allies, the Asom Gana ParishDuring this expansion, a total of seven new ministers are to be inducted among which five will be from the BJP, while one each will be from its allies, the Asom Gana Parishad and Bodoland People’s Front.

Among the seven new Ministers, Bhabesh Kalita of Rangia Constituency, Pijush Hazarika of Jagiroad Constituency, Tapan Gogoi of Sonari Constituency are to be entrusted with State Independent Charge. While Siddhartha Bhattacharya of

Gauhati East Constituency,  Chandan Brahma of Sidli Constituency, Sum Ronghang of Diphu Constituency,  and Phani Bhushan Chowdhury of Bongaigaon Constituency are to be in the Cabinet.

The oath taking of the new Ministers will be held on 26th of April at 10 am at Raj Bhawan.
