Assam Son Nandil Sarma Impresses at Doon School Foundation Day with Powerful Speech

Dehradun, October 201, 2019:

Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's son, Nandil, is apparently following in his father's footsteps. The Assam lad, who is currently studying at the prestigious Doon school and has been appointed the School Captain, has made his mark as a powerful orator and impressed a distinguished gathering, which included tennis great Vijay Amritraj, during the prestigious school's Foundation Day.

Taking to his social media, Devajit Lon Saikia, who is a close associate of the Sarma clan, wrote, "Founders Day in Doon School..... wonderful time to see a young lad from northeast ..Nandil Sarma, school captain, leading the iconic institution from the front with his eloquent, thought provoking yet humourous and witty speech, amongst other achievements, in front of a huge distinguished gathering including India's tennis legend Vijay Amritraj...best wishes to the youngster and congratulations to the proud parents."

Father Himanta and mother Riniki were also present during the Foundation Day celebration, and were all-smiles while posing for pictures with their son.

Meanwhile, Himanta Biswa Sarma is fresh off the campaign trail after relentlessly campaigning for the BJP party candidates, who will contest the upcoming bye-elections in the state in four Assembly Constituencies: Sonari, Rangapara, Ratabari and Jania.

The four Constituencies in Assam will head to the polls on October 21. The bye-polls are expected to be a litmus test for the BJP-led state Government in Assam.
