Assam: Five of a family killed in road mishap in Goalpara

GOALPARA: Five members of a family including two children were killed and three others seriously injured in a road mishap on National Highway 15 in Western Assam’s Goalpara district on Thursday night.

The accident occurred around 9 pm at Bolbola Godhabori under Agia police station in Goalpara district.

The incident happened when an Eon car that was heading towards Goalpara collided head-on with a Swift Dzire.

Three people died on the spot and five others, including two children who were critically injured, were immediately admitted to Goalpara civil hospital.
