Halflong, July 12, 2019:

As a result of incessant rains in all the districts entire state of Assam, the road connectivity has been highly affected.

In the hill districts of the state, especially, landslides have turned into a clear and present danger at the present moment.

Keeping this in mind, trains have been cancelled between New Harangajao and Jatinga Lampur station.

The 'Down Fast' passenger trains have been returned to Guwahati from New Haflong station, Down Kanchanjunga trains have returned to Guwahati from Lumding station and Up fast passenger trains have returned to Silcher from Bandarkhal station.

The 55615 Guwahati-Silchar Passenger train service has also been terminated at New Halflong, 55616 Silchar Guwahati Passenger train service has terminated at Chandranathpur station, and the 13176 Silchar Sealdah has been cancelled for today.
