Assam: Frontline workers felicitated at Haflong

HAFLONG: Three organizations of Hmar community namely Women's Association (HWA),  Hmar Student Association (HSA), and Hmar Youth Association(HYA) organized a felicitation program for frontline workers at Haflong Covid Care center on Monday.

Along with the dignitaries including Paul Boruwa, DC Dima Hasao,  Smt. Dipali Barman, Joint Director Health Service Dima Hasao,  Dr. Kalpana Kemprai, Superintendent Haflong Civil Hospital;  other doctors,  nurses,  ward boys and cleaning staff were also present on the occasion.

They felicitated all the frontline workers present there with Hmar traditional gamucha and mementos.

Rozer Firehm, General Secretary of Hmar Student Association, Dima Hasao district said that the motive behind the felicitation program is to thank and encourage the frontline workers including doctors, nurses, ward boys, cleaning staffs, all administrative staff those who are rendering their relentless service amid the COVID pandemic.

He further appealed to the people to maintain all the Covid SOP and protocols.
