Assam Girl Tunlai Narzary Bags Shotput Gold in World Police Games in China

Assam's Tunlai Narzary continues to bring laurels to the state! This time, the athlete has bagged a gold medal in shotput in the World Police Games held in Chengdu, China.

Now, Narzary's eyes will be set on the grandest of stages -- the Asian Games and Olympics (to be held in 2020 in Tokyo city of Japan).

It is to be mentioned that Tunlai Narzary hails from Ghilaguri Dotma village located in Kokrajhar district of Assam. The athlete is also employed as a cop as she is stationed in the 10th Battalion of the Assam Police.

It may be mentioned that Assam athletes are shining on the world stage in recent times.
