The Chief Secretary of Assam Kumar Sanjay Krishna on Saturday, 29th of August informed that the state government will be taking strict actions from Monday onwards against people not following COVID-19 protocols such as; wearing masks or face coverings at a public place, follow social distancing.
Kumar Sanjay Krishna took to his twitter handle and wrote, “It has been noticed that people are not following precautionary steps and are violating the COVID Protocols. From Monday onwards there shall be visible strict action taken against those who violate the norms of social distancing or found not wearing a face mask.”
Earlier the Chief Secretary of Assam also urged the citizens to follow all the COVID-19 protocols.
Meanwhile, On Saturday the Center issued the Unlock 4 guidelines mentioning the does and don’ts.
The MHA announced that there shall be no restriction on inter-State and intra-State movement of persons and goods. No separate permission/ approval/ e-permit will be required for such movements.
It further instructed that social/academic/sports/entertainment/cultural/religious/ political functions & other congregations will be permitted with a ceiling of 100 persons, from Sept 21.
The use of Aarogya Setu mobile application will continue to be encouraged.
