Rajya Sabha MP from Assam Biswajit Daimary on July 1st, 2020, while launching a blistering attack at the Governor Jagdish Mukhi, said that the Governor has failed to work for the development of the Bodoland Territorial Autonomous Districts region.
“Under the rule of the Governor, the BTR has not witnessed any development,” Daimary said while adding that the Governor has no knowledge about the BTC.
“He does not know how the BTC was formed. He even does not know how to work adhering to the Constitution,” he added.

“He is investigating how many appointments were given in 2005 after the BTC government was formed instead of focusing on developmental works in the region,” the MP said.
