Assam govt to analyse COVID-19 data of last week tomorrow

GUWAHATI: The Assam government is scheduled to hold a meeting to overview the current COVID-19 scenario in the state and analyse the data of last one week.

CM Himanta Biswa Sharma informed to media in Dibrugarh today that the decision regarding the next step will be taken after the analysis.

“We will sit at Guwahati tomorrow to analyse the Covid19 data of last one week of the state and take decision regarding our next step,” said the CM.

Assam, till Tuesday evening, logged 475 new COVID-19 cases.

Of the fresh 475 cases logged in Assam, 190 have been detected in Guwahati.

Single-day COVID numbers in Assam spiked by 124 on Tuesday evening as compared to Monday.
