Assam Govt provides financial assistance of ₹25,000 to over 5000 beneficiaries

DIBRUGARH: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today attended a rollout programe of 2nd phase of Assam Micro-Finance Incentive and Relief Scheme 2021 for 11 lakh borrowers of category-I (prompt payers) at Chowkidinghee field in Dibrugarh.

The state government provided a financial assistance up to ₹ 25000 to 5097 beneficiaries today.

A total 25873 borrowers will be benefited with the scheme in Dibrugarh district.

The occasion is being attended by Union Minister of state Rameswar Teli, State Finance Minister Ajanta Neog, Agricultural minister Atul Bora, Power minister Bimal Borah, ministers Sanjay Kishan, Jogen Mohan and MLAs, Chairman of various PSUs, Corporations etc. Biswajit Pegu, DC, Dibrugarh and other dignitaries and a large number of beneficiaries.
