Assam: Guwahati doctor raises Corona 'hoax', files FIR with CBI

Guwahati Doctor Satyakam Phukan has filed an FIR with CBI regarding the corona pandemic and has raised the issue as a hoax.

On June 18, Dr Phukan filed an online FIR with CBI regarding the matter. He has also written letters to the President of India regarding the matter.

In the FIR, he has requested CBI to take adequate steps. The CBI has yet to respond to the FIR filed by Phukan.

"Epidemics have a definition as the incidence of cases should not cross a limit. I don't know anyone who has corona, my friend who came from Mumbai had no problems also was found corona positive. I was watching the news in Wuhan and the diamond princess story how did the virus spread to the ship. The Diamond princess was roaming about ports and ports and in Cambodia, they were allowed. How did it reach Tokyo to Cambodia in 2 days, How did the virus spread from China to Italy?"

As for the concept of govt measures, he further states, "social distancing is not a concept for medicine as it only for psychiatry. We use masks so that I don't expose to the patient, kidney patients too wear it. Why has it done for general people? As for handwashing, too much will cause fungus infection as the protective fatty acid will go off.

In terms of the lockdown, he feels its like treating a disease with police. "Why have they created a terrorised situation? I looked up at Yandex where I saw many stories which have proved the corona is a hoax and the claims of hospitals being filled with dead patients are a lie".

As for the corona coverage, "we would have seen people from suffering and the mainstream media has not covered the facts. I hear celebrities have taken money as well".

He then sums up by saying that he can be countered as well but only after understanding his claims he has mentioned in the FIR.
