ASSAM: GUWAHATI WELCOMES THE ADVENT OF SPRING

Celebration around the city;

The city of Guwahati welcomed Rongali today with all its traditional style. The oldest Bihu function at Latasil began with their three days program from today. The Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal hoisted the traditional ‘Gamocha’ at Bharalumukh Bihu function  along with Director General of Police Mukesh Sahay while the Mukoli Bihu of All Assam Students Union captured the limelight. The city witnessed many new trends within itself while models took a journey around the city promoting new Bihu offers of particular brands.
