Assam: HAD Minister Jogen Mohan and Chief Secy Jishnu Barua visit Haflong ahead of Cabinet Meeting

HAFLONG: Hills and Area Development (HAD) Minister Jogen Mohan and Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua today visited Haflong to take stock of upcoming Assam Cabinet Meeting which is scheduled to be held at Haflong on January 5th January 2022.

HAD Minister and Chief Secretary firstly visited Dima Hasao Sports complex to inspect the on going construction work of stadium then visited Haflong Siksha Bawan to also inspect the ongoing construction work of Siksha Bawan those which will be inaugurat on upcoming assembly meeting.

After that Jogen Mohan visited to Haflong Civil Hospital to take stock of the patients those who were injured in Maibang incident he also visited to the oxygen plant which will be inaugurat during upcoming assembly meeting.

Jogen Mohan, HAD and Gardian Minister said that the reason behind to visit Dima Hasao is to take stock of upcoming assembly meeting and also to take stock of the patients those who were injured in Maibang incident.

Assam Government is very much careful about Dima Hasao district and also giving importance to the hills district.

He appealed the the DNLA organization to not to destroy the peace and harmony because the peace talk is going on with the Government, he added this type of incident will be noted in the peace process agreement.

He also urged police administration to be strict against such type of incidents.
