Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma announces 10th & 12th exam dates; Check details here

GUWAHATI: Ending all speculations, Assam Health, Finance, and Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today announced the dates of the 10th and 12th examinations to be held by the Assam Education Department.

As announced by Assam Education Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the HSLC & HS examinations, 2021 in Assam will be conducted as follows :

High School leaving certificate examination from 11th May, 2021.

Higher Secondary examination from 12th May, 2021.

The result of HSLC and HS examinations will be declared within the 7th and 30th July, 2021, respectively.

It needs mention here that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the educational institutes were completing their syllabus through online classes. Now, the schools in Assam have reopened from January 1 for proper functioning and regular classes.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has also decided to reduce the syllabus of the board exams this year by 30 per cent, as students were not able to attend regular classes this year.
