ALL ASSAM HINDU STUDENTS UNION PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL 2016

The All Assam Hindu Student’s Union, Tinsukia District Committee (AAHSU) formed a huge torch light procession on Wednesday, protesting against the Government for the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016. The procession started from Tamulbari to AT Road via Thana Road and ended in Tinsukia Thana Chariali with slogans against the Government.

The protestor demands to dismiss the Citizenship bill and also urged Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to stand against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016. They also demanded the JPC members to conduct a hearing in Tinsukia district. During the protest a memorendum has been sent to the Chief Minister of Assam through the District Deputy Commissioner.
