GUWAHATI: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Assam icon Zubeen Garg, in a bid to give back to society, has decided to organize a session to help patients in Guwahati city.
Around 3.30 pm, renowned singer Zubeen Garg reached the Ayursundra Superspecialty Hospital. Zubeen along with his wife, eminent fashion designer Garima Saikia Garg, was received by Manoj Kr. Deka, the Chief Executive Officer of Ayursundra Superspecialty Hospital.
The team interacted with the hospital management, doctors, and discussed the facilities, service, and infrastructure provided by the hospital.

The Assam icon then paid a visit to different wards of the hospital and gifted a fruit basket as a token of love to the admitted patients on the occasion of his pre-birthday celebration.
A birthday cake was presented by Ayursundra Superspecialty Hospital to Mr. Zubeen Garg on the occasion of his birthday. Garg cut the cake in the presence of his wife and hospital authorities.

After cutting the birthday cake, Garg had a discussion with the hospital management and as a humane gesture, he announced that he will be footing the bills of as many as 5 critically ill patients in the hospital.
