Assam: Illegal arm suppliers arrested in Kokrajhar, arms recovered

The Kokrajhar police on Thursday evening apprehended two illegal arms supplier and fake currency cheater at Titaguri uvder Kokhrajhar police station.

A pistol, three live ammunitions and huge amounts of fake currency paper notes were recovered from them. Arrested were identified as Namalesh Daimary(29),Digambar Goyary(25) of Dindangpara village.

Daimary was a non-teaching staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kokrajhar.

Officer-in-charge of Kokrajhar police station, Binanda Basumatary told that arrested persons were involved with anti-social activities in the area. He further informed that more investigation is going on into the incident.
