The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has sent Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leaders Bitu Sonowal and Dhaijya Konwar to judicial custody again on Monday.
Sonowal and Konwar were produced at the NIA court after their judicial custody ended and the two were rearrested again in a case against them that was registered in 2009.
The NIA court has asked to produce them again on February 10. It may be mentioned here that Sonowal and Konwar were arrested on the basis of a case registered at the Basistha Police station allegedly for provoking the agitators of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

The court has allowed them to meet their lawyers and family members this time.
