ASSAM: LAND SLIDES AFFECT TRAIN SERVICES IN LUMDING

In a latest update the train services are affected in Lumding-Badarpur section in Assam due to land slide in several locations. According to a latest update four trains suspended due to land slide in Lumding and Badarpur hill sections. While the extent of damage is yet to be fully ascertained. It can also be noted that restoration work has already started in all affected locations. As sources revealed, the Divisional Railway Manager has been monitoring the situation expecting the train services to start as early as possible.
