The lions club of Gauhati on Thursday, 17th September donated 11 0xygen Cylinders to Marwari Hospitals which was followed by a function in the premises of the hospitals.
The guests present in the programme from Lions Club of Gauhati Capital Assam were Vijay Singhal(Project Chairman), Arvind Sodhani(President), Sonali Khetewat (Secretary) and other members including Pankaj Poddar.
Along with the members of Lions Club of Gauhati Capital Assam, members from Marwari Hospitals were also present in the programme including Medical Superintendent Dr. Anil Kalita, Hospital Superintendent Rohit Upadhayay, DGM (O) Mrs Kamala S Das and Officer on Special Duty B.L.Sharma etc.

While inaugurating the Oxygen Bank, Project Chairman of Lions Club of Gauhati Capital Assam said, “The work of Marwari Hospitals during this time of pandemic is really appreciable. We are very happy and lucky to donate oxygen cylinders to Marwari Hospitals. After getting the information from Marwari Hospitals regarding requirement of oxygen cylinders, we planned to donate these oxygen cylinders to Marwari Hospitals instantly. We, Lions Club of Gauhati Capital Assam are always ready to help people in need.”
On behalf of the management of Marwari Hospitals, the Hospital Superintendent, Rohit Upadhayay further stated that the donation of these 11 oxygen cylinders will be really benefial and helpful to the hospital and he also appreciated the kindness of Lions Club of Gauhati Capital Assam for their continous help and support towards Marwari Hospitals from time to time.
