A major fire has broken out in Ward no. 7's Balugada, Bikashpur located in Tinsukia district of Assam. In the fire, which broke out early in the morning on Monday, at least 13 houses have been gutted.
Meanwhile, four fire tenders have reached the spot to douse the flames. The fire brigade team is still engaged in dousing the fire.
As per reports, the fire broke out after four cylinders exploded at the location.
A local told mediapersons, "The fire spread to the electricity wire, and turned massive. I somehow managed to escape with my child, was not able to save a single valuable. In my estimates, at least 25 houses must be enveloped in flames..."
