ASSAM: MAJOR FIRE ENGULFS BUILDING IN THE HEART OF GUWAHATI CITY

A major fire broke out in Kumarpara area in Guwahati on Friday. The fire broke out in a four storeyed building Borbhuyan Complex. The fire engulfed several thatched houses on the terrace of the building. Multiple cylinder blasts have been reported in the inferno. A total of six fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the devastating fire.

Speaking to INSIDENE, Fire and Emergency Services Official Mrinal Kalita said though it was a massive fire but there have been no casualty .
