Assam: Massive fire Breaks Out near Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati

Guwahati, December 26, 2019:

A massive fire broke out near Nemcare Hospital in Assam’s Guwahati on Thursday at around 4 pm.

Although the cause of the fire is yet to be disclosed by authorities, according to locals, the fire broke out because of a cylinder burst in a sweet shop called Gunjan.

The sweet shop is adjacent to the Nemcare hospital, which is one of the popular and highly equipped hospitals in Assam. It can also accommodate a huge capacity of patients.

The fire triggered a panic situation in the Bhangagarh area. As many as two fire brigades rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
