ASSAM: MINOR DIES AFTER BEING RAPED

Yet another heinous case of rape is added to the row of rape cases in the past few days in Assam. A girl aged five was found dead near the Tiloi river in Bengali gaon of Moran district. The miscreant who is on the large raped the girl which led to her death. It is alleged that the felon is one Rajen Mardi.

The people of the region stated that the deceased was missing for the last five days, until they recovered her body today in a pathetic condition.

The state has been witnessing a high rate of crime against women in the state. The government has sought to bring out some tangible solutions regarding this but to no effect. This is yet another slam on the police of the state.
