Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hargrama Mohilary, slamming political rival Naba Sarania, held the latter responsible for the gunning down of a Bodoland People's Front (BPF) worker in Udalguri, Assam.
Addressing the media from the residence of the deceased, identified as Khairul Haque, Hagrama Mohilary said that Naba Sarania, who is the current Lok Sabha MP from Kokrajhar, is the man behind the killing of the BPF worker.

"No Bodo has illegal firearms anymore", reasoned Mohilary, adding that Sarania is the only one in the possession of illegal weapons in the Bodo-dominated region in Assam. Thus, Hagrama argued, Sarania must be the one responsible for the killing of the worker. "Only Hira Sarania can claim possession of illegal firearms...his men only have killed him (Haque)", said Hagrama.

Mohilary, during his interaction with the press, also appealed the concerned authorities to nab the culprits behind the murder of the BPF worker. "I am not an official...how can I nab the culprits?", Hagrama said, upon being exhorted by the press to nab the killers.
It may be mentioned that Haque was gunned down on Friday evening by unknown assailants in Udalguri district that falls under the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
