New train will be flagged of weekly from Agartala to Deoghar on 6th July. According to the sources, the train would be flagged off from Agartala railway station on July 6 morning. Regular service of the train would commence from July 14. The speciality of the train is that it will be composed of 14 coaches, all of which have been fitted with CBC coupling.
The train will leave Agartala at 10pm every Saturday and arrive at Deoghar on Monday at 1pm. On its return journey, the vehicle will depart from Deoghar at 6.45pm every Monday and arrive at Agartala at 8.15am on Wednesdays.
It will halt at Ambassa and Dharmanagar in Tripura, New Karimganj, Badarpur Junction, New Haflong, Maibong, Lumding, Chaparmukh, Guwahati, Kamakhya, Rangiya and New Bongaigaon in Assam, New Coochbehar and New Jalpaiguri stations in Bengal and Katihar junction in Bihar. The express train will cover a distance of 1,473km in 39 hours.
