Assam: Pistols, grenades seized in Tinsukia

26 July 2018:

A combined team of the police and Army seized five pistols along with a certain number of live cartridges and two grenades from Lakhipathar Banimancha area of Digboi in Tinsukia district on Thursday.

According to official sources, old currency notes worth Rs.1.45 lakh was also seized. However, no individual could be apprehended so far in connection with the seizure.
