Assam Police apprehends one woman, recovers 16.40 gms heroin in Margherita

MARGHERITA: On the basis of secret information on Saturday morning Margherita Sub Divisional Police Officer Partho Pratim Das (IPS) along with Bordumsa police staff apprehended one lady at Ritu Kathalguri village under Bordumsa PS of 124 Number Margherita Constituency. A total of 16.40 grams suspected Heroin was also recovered from her possession.

The lady has been identified as Puja Moran (23) from Margherita Constituency of Tinsukia District.

During investigation one Scooty without registered number, One Pulsar BR No- AS-23-Q-1266, One Glamour BR No-AS-23-Z-2618, One scooty BR No- AS-23-Z-2221,One Pulsar BR No- AS-23-X-8389 was ecovered and seized.

A case has been registered in Bordumsa PS C/No- 62/2021 U/S- 22(b) NDPS act.

Further investigation underway.
