GUWAHATI: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two persons in a case related to Dholpur eviction day violence on Thursday.
Arrest two have been identified as San Mamood and Asmat Ali. San Mahammad is the president of Sanowa Village Panchayat whereas Asmat Ali is the former president of Bajana Pathar village Panchayat.

Both the arrested are taken into custody and kept in the Sipajhar Police Station, as reported.
Both are accused of inciting violence on the day of the eviction drive in the Gorukhuti area on Thursday.

BJP yesterday also accused Congress, AIUDF and AAMSU to be a part of this Gorukhuti
