UDALGURI: Assam police put another feather in its hat as today they have busted a militant recruitment racket from the Udalguri district of the state following an intelligent input.
Though the higher police officials have taken a distance from commenting on the matter due to protocols but as per sources, a series of operations has been underway from Sunday.
The operations were launched in the areas of Bhairabkunda and Harisingha.

As of now, the police have been able to nab seven cadres associated with the recruitment process.
The arrested cadres were suspected to be from the newly floated terrorist outfit National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB) based in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
It's reported that the police have recovered mobile handsets, SIM cards and a cash of Rs 4600 from their possession.
The arrested have been identified as Rabindra Basumatary, Barnabas Basumatary, Pal Goyary, Kundan Singh, Prosen Daimary, Saniko Daimary and Rajendra Basumatary.
