Guwahati: The Assam Police on Sunday issued notice for JEE scam prime accused Bhargav Deka.
The step was taken after the officials were unable to track him down. According to reports, the JEE prime accused has been ‘hiding’ since the scam came to light.
Deka, who is the owner of the coaching institute Global Edu Light, helped candidate Neel Nakshatra Das in the entire process of using a proxy candidate in the exam.

Four others were arrested by police and sent to five days of judicial custody.
The police is yet to find out who appeared in the examination on behalf of Neel Nakshatra.
The Guwahati Police on October 30 nabbed another accused Kakoli Bezbaruah from Rupnagar in the capital city.
Earlier, Neel Nakshatra Das, the topper of JEE, his father, Dr Jyotirmoy Das, and three employees of a testing centre – Hamendra Nath Sarma, Pranjal Kalita and Hirulal Pathak – were arrested on October 29.
