Assam Police Seizes Intoxicated Tablets, Two Drug Peddlers Arrested

Hojai, February 16, 2020:

Assam Police have seized a huge amount of intoxicated tablets and arrested two drug peddlers from Jugijan road on Sunday.

Hojai Police launched an operation on the basis of specific input received about drug peddlers in the area.

The two drug peddlers, identified as Bappa Dey and Babul Dey, had 1200 numbers of Nitrosem tablets and 28,470 numbers of Sampex capsules. Police have recovered the tablets from their possession.

A case has been registered in relation to the seizing of the banned items. Interrogation is going on to get full information of whole nexus.
