Assam | Post Graduate Admissions Begin in Gauhati University

A press release issued by the Gauhati University of Assam states that the University has started the process for P.G. Admissions for the session 2019-20.

As per the communique, the University Authority has informed that there will be a Common Entrance Test for admission into the P.G. Programmes of Study in the University Departments and its Affiliated Colleges. For the convenience of the students appearing in the Entrance Test, the University has announced 12 Examination centres - Arunachal Pradesh, Bongaigaon, Sonitpur, Diphu, Didrugarh, Jorhat, Meghalaya, Nowgaon, Pathsala, Silchar, North Lakhimpur, and Gauhati University.

It is mandatory that all students seeking admission in the Post Graduate level in auhati University and in its Affiliated Colleges appear in the Common Entrance Test announced by the University.

The entrance test will be conducted from 29-06-2019 to 03-07-2019. Moreover, the entire process of submission of forms is online. The last date for submission of forms and payment of fees is 16-06-2019.

Students seeking admission under EC, FV, NCC, NCC, etc quotas have to submit the downloaded prescribed form either in the Office of the Director of Students' Welfare or in Room no. 14 of the Office of the Secretary, University Classes, GU, on or before 15-06-2019.
