Post-mortem reports have revealed that Assam CAA agitation martyr Sam Stefford was shot from close quarters. Not only that, the post-mortem has revealed that Sam was also shot from behind.

According to reports, Sam, who was shit on December 12 last near Namghar Path in Hatogaon. According to authorities, Sam was killed when police opened blind fire to disperse an unruly mob. However, the post-mortem report paints a different picture.
According to the report, the first bullet pierced Sam's skull, while the second bullet pierced his back and passed through his chest. According to reports, Sam was also wounded on his forehead, which points to the fact that he was wounded before or after bullets pierced his body. Moreover, post-mortem reveals that Sam was wounded in as many as 6 different places in his body.

Seventeen-year-old Sam Stafford, who was preparing for his Class 10 board exams, was the second teenager killed in the ongoing protests in Assam against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019.
Sam joined the protests amid apprehensions that the CAA, that has been designed to fast-track the process of granting citizenship to six non-Muslim communities (Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian), could pose a threat to the culture, language, and identity of the State of Assam.
Born to a Christian father and a Muslim mother, Sam definitely paid the price for the debate over the Citizenship Amendment Act and the uprising in Assam against it.
