Protest over Kathua-Unnao Rape Case

A protest against the sensational Kathua-Unnao rape case was lodged by the members of the Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee. The protest was raised at the premises of the Janata Bhawan today.

Over the Kathua, Unnao rape cases, massive protest are being held across India including cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. After such public outrage over a spate of rape and murder of children spiral, Assam joins in the protest too.

The members of the Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee condemned the failure of the government to stop such callousness against women. They demanded for justice to be laid at the earliest. They also urged to enforce stringent laws for protection of women.
